Limburg has been the number one European hotspot for logistics operations form many years. The European market is our neigbor: within a radius of 100 km (62 miles), 30 million consumers can be reached, and within 500 km (310 miles), the number increases to 170 million consumers. There are many large plots available and there is close coopertion with schools and universities of applied sciences to ensure the availability of well-educated employees.

Mature transportation infrastructure

The region offers a trimodal established network of rail, road, and  water connections. Limburg offers various smaller transshipment locations via water and rail. The largest inland rail terminal of the Netherlands will be operational by the end of 2019. There is a high concentration of third-party logistics (for example:  DSV, DHL, CEVA, UPS and DB Schenker), close to integrator hubs DHL, TNT/FedEx, and UPS.

Maastricht Aachen Airport is the second largest cargo airport in the Netherlands. They handle a full range of products, like fresh foods, flowers, pharmaceuticals, the latest high-tech products and live animals to and from all over the world. With the presences of Dutch Customs, a smooth transaction is guaranteed.  Because of the size of the aiport, an efficient and customized solution is possible.
